Today, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska announces Jennifer Patronas has resigned from her position as Chief Executive Officer, effective Friday, Sept. 22, 2023.

Patronas joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska in January of 2022. During her time with the organization as CEO, Patronas oversaw profound accomplishments including reorganizing Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral under the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Native Services Department. Patronas also heightened safety protocols in Clubhouses across the state, increased Athletics participation while reducing the cost to families, improved enrollment numbers in all Clubhouses, and reduced healthcare costs for all staff and their families.

“The board accepted Jen’s resignation with gratitude and is immensely thankful for the efforts she has put in over her tenure to elevate Clubhouse outcomes,” said Boys & Girls Clubs Board President Doug John. “It has been an honor to serve alongside Jen.”

The board will begin an impartial hiring process immediately to bring on a new CEO, and will continue to keep staff and stakeholders informed. Any staff or stakeholders who have immediate questions should reach out to Boys & Girls Clubs of Southcentral Alaska Chief Operations Officer Andrew Mergens.

Did not know B&G Club gave up the Alaska and changed to B&G Club of South Central ALASKA.

I think that was a paramount change.Long over due.
